Systems Administrator/Server Analyst

Are you a Systems Administrator, Server Support Analyst, 3rd line support looking for a new exciting opportunity and keen to progress your cloud-based knowledge?

Our market leading e-commerce client, based in a stunning period building with fantastic views and within easy commute of both Bristol & Bath are looking for a new team member who will play a key role in increasing the adoption of cloud based-based services and introducing a range of new digital services to the business and clients.

With a solid skillset ideally covering Windows server, Active Directory, VMWare, McAfee, Group Policy, Solarwinds Orion, the ideal candidate will have further proven experience working with Linux as well as some cloud based technologies such as Amazon Web services or Azure.

With strong customer facing skills, your responsibilities will include:

  • Planning, design and delivery of new services, including the technical integration of SaaS and IaaS products.
  • To provide expertise with hardware and software upgrades and fixes
  • To monitor and identify potential changes to software and hardware necessary to provide a consistent and secure service to all users and minimise disruption
  • To provide third line support with query handling with the use of digital tools and systems to help them keep abreast of the latest changes in the digital environment
  • To contribute to stakeholder engagement and communication plans for the roll of changes and upgrades to user platform hardware and software
  • To schedule regular maintence and installation works for projects and work streams to support service delivery
